Everyone wants to look their “natural best” for their family photos. Sadly, we’ve all had that disappointing experience when the way you look in the mirror doesn’t translate well to a photograph! We want to look beautiful, authentic, and confident. You know that I always recommend professional hair and makeup services before your session, but I […]
Those of you who follow my blog know how much I enjoy traveling. I have a long bucket list of destinations I want to explore. Traveling to new destinations is such a great way to learn about the world, and it provides invaluable experiences. Luckily, my work as a Colorado elopement photographer has led me […]
You met the love of your life and now you need to shop for the perfect dress. This is the dress, the dress that will hang in your closet for the next thirty years and maybe even get passed down to a daughter or granddaughter. I know how important it is to feel like you’ve […]
Most of the families and couples who choose to work with me share my love for nature, but as an outdoor family and elopement photographer, it’s important that I do my part to bring awareness to “leave no trace” and share some ways we can keep our state looking beautiful for years to come!

It’s hard to believe the year is coming to an end – and with that, I’d love to share a little trip down memory lane! The last twelve months have brought me so much happiness! I’ve photographed families on mountain adventures, couples celebrating milestones, and entrepreneurs and seniors showing off their hard work.
I think everyone familiar with Colorado knows that the weather here can be pretty unpredictable – and this time its unpredictability worked out perfectly! The skies were stormy and rainy the entire drive up into the mountains on my way to photograph this mountain elopement at Clinton Gulch, so much so that I even stopped […]
This bride and groom came to Colorado from just outside of Houston, Texas for an intimate elopement at Blue Lakes near Breckenridge, Colorado. On their wedding day, they had been together for twelve years, engaged for nine, and even have a five-year-old son. They’ve had their share of ups and downs over the years but […]
This lovely couple first met on the job and didn’t have the best first impression. That obviously changed as they now have two kids together. They chose to celebrate their relationship with an elopement this fall at Officers Gulch. Officers Gulch is a small Colorado lake, located right off of Interstate 70 between the town of Frisco […]
