It was my very first time photographing this lovely family and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for our fall family session! We chose to meet at Cheesman Park at the beginning of November, and as a pleasant surprise, we found that some of the garden’s roses were still in bloom!
I met this lovely mom years ago while we were both participating in a photography program in Washington, DC. I have been honored to photograph her family several times in the years since, both in DC and now here in Colorado. They made the decision to relocate to the area, just like my family – great minds must think alike! It was so great seeing her again for a family session last fall.
Most of the families and couples who choose to work with me share my love for nature, but as an outdoor family and elopement photographer, it’s important that I do my part to bring awareness to “leave no trace” and share some ways we can keep our state looking beautiful for years to come!
It’s always such an honor when friends trust me to capture moments with their families! I have known this beautiful mother-of-two since my very first days in Washington DC. When I lived there several years ago, we were both photography hobbyists and I’m so happy to say that we’ve been friends ever since!
It was my second time photographing this beautiful Colorado family, and so fun to see how the kids had grown as it had been about two years since our last session. They were still as happy and silly as the last time, and they were super fun to photograph!
I’ve been photographing this beautiful family for about a decade now, and we always have so much fun when we see each other during my annual trips to the Washington DC area! Since they really enjoy their time spent together at their home in Potomac, Maryland, we decided to stay put for their backyard session this fall!
For this fall family session, we met at the family’s beautiful waterfront property in Manassas, Virginia. We spent some quality time together on the grounds surrounding their custom-built home, and were even accompanied by their faithful cat, who tagged along for a good portion of the session.
Preparing to welcome another child into the world is such an exciting time! For this fall maternity session, I had the chance to meet a lovely couple and their toddler son for some family photos at one of my favorite secret locations in Denver.
This beautiful family recently moved back to Denver after spending the last two years living in both France and Singapore and wanted to capture some photos that felt like home. Considering their vision for the session, we stayed close to their home in the Platt Park neighborhood of Denver.
It’s no secret that fall is the most popular season for family photography sessions. However, spring isn’t too shabby either and it definitely shouldn’t be counted out! There’s so much to love about taking family photos in the spring, and in my opinion, it’s the perfect time to schedule a session!
