It isn’t every day that you get to photograph your best friend! Kodi and I met several years ago when we were both only 16, but we’ve maintained our friendship over the years and across the miles.
I always love seeing him during my trips to Washington DC (it’s not a complete trip without time with Kodi!). This time it was extra special because we had a chance to capture some updated portraits of him.
I love a good family tradition – particularly ones that involve photography, and this family has started one that we’ve kept going for a solid fifteen years now!
It’s hard to believe the year is coming to an end – and with that, I’d love to share a little trip down memory lane! The last twelve months have brought me so much happiness! I’ve photographed families on mountain adventures, couples celebrating milestones, and entrepreneurs and seniors showing off their hard work.
This was my first-time meeting with this beautiful family at their lovely home in Virginia. They haven’t had many professional photos taken together, and none since their daughter was born.
