DC Fall Family Session – Georgetown

Family

I love a good family tradition – particularly ones that involve photography, and this family has started one that we’ve kept going for a solid fifteen years now!

Each year, during my Washington DC visit, we meet at the same location, a park just up the street from their Georgetown home (and one that I actually used to visit frequently when I lived on the same street years ago!). It’s such a great way for this family to mark the passing of time, and it’s always fun for me to try and find new ways to capture the same space while honoring their tradition!

It’s been such a pleasure watching this family grow over the years – and documenting various milestones and stages together- from mom and dad’s engagement and wedding to family photo sessions including their three beautiful children. We made sure to include their family pup this time as well!

Our annual sessions might be in the same location each time, but we always try to put a different spin on it each time we meet. And one thing is always guaranteed – we have lots of fun! I’m already thinking about what we might do next year!

Let’s start a new family tradition together!

If you’d like to borrow this idea and start a new family tradition of your own, I would love to help you get started with your first family session! As a first step, I hope you’ll reach out to me and say hi, so we can answer any questions you might have about my family sessions. When you’re ready, head over to my schedule to view my availability and book a date and time for your family session. I look forward to hearing from you!
