This beautiful family recently moved back to Denver after spending the last two years living in both France and Singapore and wanted to capture some photos that felt like home. Considering their vision for the session, we stayed close to their home in the Platt Park neighborhood of Denver.
It’s no secret that fall is the most popular season for family photography sessions. However, spring isn’t too shabby either and it definitely shouldn’t be counted out! There’s so much to love about taking family photos in the spring, and in my opinion, it’s the perfect time to schedule a session!
I love a good family tradition – particularly ones that involve photography, and this family has started one that we’ve kept going for a solid fifteen years now!
It’s hard to believe that I have known this couple for almost as long as I have known my husband, but it wasn’t until this year that I had the pleasure of photographing their whole family – with their beautiful, energetic kids! It was great to finally meet up for some photographs and memories during my most recent trip to the Washington DC area!
I was delighted to meet this gorgeous family as they were searching for a photographer after moving to Parker, Colorado from California this fall. One of my other wonderful clients was gracious enough to pass long my name, and I am so glad because I had the opportunity to photograph not only mom and dad with their two sweet boys, but grandma, too!
Snow days are so much fun in the winter months! There’s nothing like waking up early with the boys and sharing their excitement when we hear that schools are closed for the day. But sometimes, we’re looking for things to do!
It’s hard to believe the year is coming to an end – and with that, I’d love to share a little trip down memory lane! The last twelve months have brought me so much happiness! I’ve photographed families on mountain adventures, couples celebrating milestones, and entrepreneurs and seniors showing off their hard work.
This session completed “Baby’s First Year” with this family’s second child, round out 8 total sessions together and celebrating their daughter’s first birthday!
At our house, the holidays just aren’t complete without…cookies! In fact, since the boys were young, I’ve realized that the entire week leading up to Christmas is just one continuous sugar high! There are the treats at school parties, goodies arriving in the mail from friends and family, and of course lots of cookie baking at home! So, I’ve just learned to embrace it!
It was my first time meeting this family of five during my east coast visit this fall. We chose one of the most scenic locations in Florida for our family session, Honeymoon Island State Park.
