Spring is finally here and with it comes the perfect opportunity to capture some beautiful family moments in the great outdoors. But before you start planning your family photo shoot, it’s important to consider the perfect outfits that will help bring your vision to life. Choosing the right outfits can be a daunting task, but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. In this blog post, I will be sharing some helpful tips and inspiration on how to style your family for a stunning spring photo shoot that you’ll treasure forever.
Color Palette
Choosing a color palette that works can be a feat in itself. I don’t recommend wearing greens or blues, as most outdoor session backdrops are mostly those colors. The best options for spring color palettes are earth tones, warm tones, and neutrals. With that said, consider your coloring and what flatters your skin tone best!
Coordinate, Don’t Match
Although it is darling when children match in early childhood, opt to coordinate instead for a more up-scale, high-end feel to your photos. Blending is a lot more effort than choosing one outfit for everyone. But it is so worth it! Not only will you add variety and interest to your family pictures, but your spring family photo outfits will also be more complimentary to the individual.
Spring Family Photo Outfits
Most of all, wear something comfortable and in your style! I always recommend something that allows a lot of movement. If you are feeling confident in yourself, it will shine through in your photos. And that is precisely what we want! As a Denver family photographer, I am here to document your family and the authentic connection that you have together.
