Fall Elopement at Blue Lakes Colorado

Elopements

This bride and groom came to Colorado from just outside of Houston, Texas for an intimate elopement at Blue Lakes near Breckenridge, Colorado. On their wedding day, they had been together for twelve years, engaged for nine, and even have a five-year-old son. They’ve had their share of ups and downs over the years but made it through together.

For their mountain elopement, the groom didn’t want to go traditional, so he wore all black, down to his ring. The bride was all sparkles, including her nails, hair piece, and ‘cape view’ train, which I loved!

They chose Colorado for their ceremony because of its beauty and even decided to include their honeymoon on the same trip! They had a few snafus along the way: a bad rental car experience and a mistake with the flowers (I jumped in and played florist the best I could!), but we still managed to have a beautiful yet chilly afternoon at Blue Lakes.

After their breathtaking mountain ceremony, they chose to celebrate with a delicious dinner at Legends Steakhouse in Breckenridge. I know the adventures have only just begun for this beautiful couple!
