The Denver area is full of scenery, and depending on where you are within Colorado’s capital city, you can find a wedding venue to suit any style or type of wedding. Whether it’s rustic and cozy, chic and elegant, or urban and industrial, there’s a venue to match that vision. Here I’m sharing some of my favorite intimate venues within thirty minutes of the Mile High City.
This modern lodge with mountain views is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. The home includes five bedrooms and an array of common areas, and with the option to rent out the entire house, you could achieve total privacy for your nuptials. Juniper offers over ten acres of indoor and outdoor spaces and can accommodate up to sixty guests.

Realm is a fully furnished event space that is perfect for your microwedding or elopement. With 18’ ceilings and a ton of natural light, this intimate venue is already picture perfect – and available for not just your ceremony and reception, but other wedding events as well.
The Botanic Gardens are full of picturesque photo opportunities around every corner, but the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium brings an added touch of flare to any event. Lush greenery and flowers surround the green solarium structure that is perfectly tucked away and ready to host up to sixty guests.
The Highland Haven Creekside Inn is the epitome of intimate, tucked away in the small mountain town of Evergreen. For your wedding, choose the Dailey Cabin for an indoor event with a cabin-feel. (Think stone fireplace, timber beams, hand-hewn logs, and a pitched roof.) Or maybe you’d prefer to say “I do” at the Creekside – Garden location with giant rock outcroppings and landscaping. Either way, any wedding at Highland Haven is bound to be unique. Rent out the Treehouse Suite for your first night together as a married couple. Additional cottages and suites are also available for all of your guests (with a tasty breakfast and happy hour offered daily).
If you’re hoping to achieve an elegant, romantic vibe, The Manor House is the perfect choice. All six acres of the property are yours on your special day. The beautiful white mansion serves as a perfect backdrop with dramatic views of Dry Creek Canyon in the distance. For a ceremony, choose either a scenic outdoor location or something more cozy next to one of the fireplaces.
If getting married among the pine trees is something you’ve always longed for, the Mountainside Arbor at The Red Barn is the perfect location. For rustic charm with a touch of elegance, move things over to the bartending shed and barn for cocktail hour and the reception. The Red Barn can accommodate up to 115 guests.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s truly timeless, this is it! Located on The Dairy Block in Denver, The Maven offers over 2100 square feet of flexible event space that spills into an open alley. This modern space has a built-in stage- ideal for DJs, bands, or other entertainment. And to top it off – The Maven is not only an event venue, but a hotel – with rooms for all your guests to stay on your wedding night.
The Woodlands is a “classic barn with a modern twist”. Located on 52 acres, this family owned venue is perfectly situated in the Colorado foothills. The white barn with black trim opens up to a ceremony area with stunning mountain views. The covered outdoor patio is perfect for cocktail hour – rain or shine, and a long list of vendors is provided to make planning a breeze.
Located within the Lookout Mountain Nature Preserve, Boettcher Mansion is a cozy, secluded venue. Built as a private summer home in 1917 and restored in 2005, the mansion is the perfect combination of historical character and modern amenities. The Gazebo at Boettcher Mansion is tucked away from the home and perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony or elopement.

The founders of Moss had one intention – to create something “unique and magical”, and they’ve done just that with this event venue, located in Denver’s Santa Fe Art District. Classical and industrial design have come together to create the perfect backdrop for any wedding. The Chandelier Room is perfectly named for the large light fixtures hanging in the space. The space would be ideal for a ceremony and reception for up to 200 seated guests.
Part hotel, part venue, The Ramble offers 4,300 square feet of event space, along with rooms and suites for all of your guests. A few ceremony and reception location options are also available: Vauxhall offers its own private street entrance, boasts a brass and marble bar, and can accommodate up to 70 guests. For an even cozier vibe, choose Suite 6A, which accommodates only 20 guests, and is tucked away on the hotel’s mezzanine level. Or opt for The Garden, 1,700 square feet of outdoor space with whitewashed brick, bistro lighting, and a mix of vines and flowers. This space also features a private bar and can accommodate up to 96 people.
While the clean lines, modern elements, 21-foot ceilings, and orb lighting are lovely at Space Gallery, the contemporary artwork (and the married couple, of course) is the star of this downtown wedding venue. The outdoor sculpture garden is the perfect place for your ceremony and each of the event spaces can accommodate at least 150 guests.
For the artistic couple, the Clyfford Still Museum is the perfect choice for a wedding venue. Choose among their galleries for a unique ceremony backdrop. Then, serve a seated dinner to a maximum of 50 guests or passed cocktails and food stations for up to 100 guests. To take the guesswork out of planning, the museum has a short list of trusted vendors, along with nearby hotels with which they’ve partnered for lodging.
Have you ever considered saying “I do” in the middle of an art exhibit? Contemporary artwork and crisp white walls serve as the backdrop at this open, airy loft-style venue. Located four short blocks from the Denver Art Museum, this space is the perfect space for an intimate ceremony and reception. The space can accommodate up to 120 guests.
