Motherhood is so many things – it’s beautiful, messy, complicated, and filled with endless, unconditional love. It can change our lives, test our patience, and make us stronger.

Yet what’s even more magical is the unique relationship between a mother and child. I recently had the honor of capturing some special moments and witnessing some of that magic during two separate Motherhood sessions with some fabulous moms and their children. I truly hope these are moments they’ll look back on and treasure for a lifetime.

This young man and his mom were celebrating new beginnings and wanted to capture some extra special moments together. This thoughtful mom wanted to ensure her son would look back on these photos with fond memories and that everyone who sees them would know that they’re each other’s “ride or die”. I think they certainly accomplished that with this session!

This sweet, mother-daughter duo are repeat clients of mine and make quite the pair. It’s been a pleasure to know the two of them for several years now and they are just as close as can be. It’s so clear that this little girl absolutely adores her mama, so it was easy to capture the impeccable bond they share. Mama chose to wear a beautiful ivory lace dress and she looked amazing! We had so much fun dancing, twirling, and singing to the Encanto soundtrack during our indoor studio session.
