It was my very first time as this lovely family’s Denver family photographer, and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for our fall family session! We chose to meet at Cheesman Park at the beginning of November, and as a pleasant surprise, we found that some of the garden’s roses were still in bloom!

Even though the roses putt off an early spring vibe, it was still very much a fall day with mild weather and lots of gold leaves on the surrounding trees.

Cheesman Park is a tranquil park in downtown Denver, Colorado, tucked away just east of Capitol Hill. It’s great for family photo sessions with lots of scenic nooks and backdrops within its eighty acres. At the center of the park is a large grassy lawn, perfect for lots of running and playing!

Big brother was super sweet and doting on his little sister throughout the session. We worked to get a few smiles out of them both as they enjoyed playing in the park with mom and dad. I really love meeting new clients (as well as seeing repeat families!), and this family was definitely no exception!
