It’s hard to believe that I have known this couple for almost as long as I have known my husband, but it wasn’t until this year that I had the pleasure of photographing their whole family – with their beautiful, energetic kids! My husband and this fun, father of three used to work together, and Stefan was even one of the groomsmen in his wedding! It was great to finally meet up for some photographs and memories in Alexandria, Virginia this fall!

Despite having a chilly and overcast day, we had fun walking around and exploring along the water in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

The docks along the water were great for strolling alongside the Potomac River, and the kids seemed to have a particularly good time buzzing around their parents while they tried to sneak in a few calm photos, just the two of them!

The waterfront is the perfect place to explore, stroll, and play – and it’s a great location for a scenic family photo session!
