Foggy Intimate Colorado Red Rocks Wedding

Intimate Weddings

On a foggy fall day, this beautiful couple got married during an intimate, family-only affair at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. The rain held off and the fog added a cool element to the photos we captured as it settled around the rust-colored rock formations in the background.

The ceremony was full of sweet, personal touches. The bride and groom wrote their own vows and also chose to honor the groom’s grandmother with a photograph placed in any empty chair during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, I was told that while I was laser focused on catching the perfect photo of “the kiss”, I missed a bobcat chasing after its breakfast in the background. If only I had known, maybe I would have managed to snag a shot of the action!

Moments later, the newly married couple came together with their family members for cake cutting, a champagne toast, and then strolled along and cozied up for lots of photos together on the park property. What a lovely beginning to their new journey together!
