It can be sad to close the door on a chapter in life and say goodbye to a place you and your family has grown to love. It’s equally as exciting to celebrate the beginning of a new adventure together, especially when it involves moving to a brand new place!

For this family’s session, we captured photos to commemorate a big change and a big move from Colorado to Mexico City. We couldn’t have asked for a prettier setting at Mount Falcon, or more beautiful light. I’m so happy to have been able to capture these last memories for them as they close this chapter as a family together!

This bunch was incredibly sweet, particularly the youngest who stole the show with his bubbly smile and big personality. He even stopped in between shots to sneek some hugs with me – what a charmer!

We has so much fun playing games, laughing, and hugging and they looked great while doing it! They were super coordinated in pink, and while I normally recommend earth tones, I have to say I applaud their boldness. Plus, that pop of pink looked perfect against the green grass and evergreens.

By the end of the session, it was quite chilly and windy (it can get that way in the mountains, even in the spring and summer), but it just made for even cozier couples portraits, which I always save for last!
