Hailey and York came to Colorado for a little weekend vacation (I believe it was a belated honeymoon) after being married for a few years. Sometimes these things get delayed, right?! It’s better to celebrate late than never, and what better way than with a couples session! 

We met at the beautiful Lookout Mountain, just outside the town of Golden, for some truly scenic photos. 

Prior to the session, Hailey warned me that York wasn’t super into photos, but I’ll tell you – he was there, present, and looking dapper in plaid! He also seemed super happy to be doting on his new wife. During the session, I remember him saying, “I just want to make her happy”, but honestly, by the end of the session, I actually think he was having fun and enjoying the chance to pose with his lady! 

Couples sessions can be a wonderful chance to reignite a spark, celebrate an anniversary, commemorate a special vacation, or just remember a special time in your relationship. I love that Hailey wanted to show off her marriage with York, even after a few years, and that York loves Hailey enough to do whatever makes Hailey happy.
