This sweet family showed up happy, full of energy, and ready to go! We had a great time during this Phillipe Park family session in Safety Harbor, Florida, where we had fun exploring and playing! It’s one of my favorite locations to photograph families and couples in the Tampa and Clearwater area.

It has ample shade, provided by scores of beautiful, mature trees. And dozens of those trees have my very favorite Florida feature: Spanish Moss. I seriously love this stuff and can’t get enough of how it adds that little extra something special to the backdrop of photos. The combination of texture and sunlight as it filters through the moss in the morning or afternoon is simply perfection.

Phillipe Park is situated right along the water with lots of little alcoves, picnic areas, and tiny beachfronts to explore. We even found a unique playground for the kids to blow off some steam. They had fun climbing rocks, walking the balancing line and playing with their parents! The sun was shining through the trees and everyone was happy, so there’s not much more you can ask for!
