I think everyone familiar with Colorado knows that the weather here can be pretty unpredictable – and this time its unpredictability worked out perfectly!

The skies were stormy and rainy the entire drive up into the mountains on my way to photograph this mountain elopement at Clinton Gulch, so much so that I even stopped along the way to pick up an umbrella – just in case we needed to take cover! 

Thankfully, luck was on our side, and we didn’t need that umbrella after all! The skies cleared just in time for a beautiful ceremony by the talented John Steinbach and lots of scenic photos of this lovely bride and groom. We had sunny skies throughout the day and topped it off with some pretty epic Colorado mountain views in every direction.
