Colorado is a popular destination for couples searching for a scenic elopement location- and this sunset elopement is the perfect example of why!

This couple came from out of state to tie the knot and decided on Juniper Pass for their ceremony. And let’s just say – it didn’t disappoint! The mountain views and sunset were absolutely breathtaking, and we even spotted a mountain goat from a distance! (If only I had the right zoom lens to capture a close enough shot to share!)

The couple said their vows with two of their closest friends as witnesses. I had the pleasure of working with another wonderful vendor, officiant Allen Bennett who made the wedding extra special by adding personal touches throughout the ceremony.

After the bride and groom made it official, the bridal party shared a celebratory toast with their favorite hometown beer.

We also tested our footing a bit for some stunning photos of the newly married couple. The golden light as the sun began to set was absolute perfection!

Between the view, the vows, the sunset and Melody’s beautiful dress it was a pretty epic sunset elopement!
