When you picture a classic Colorado elopement with epic views, a couple in love, and incredible memories, Lindsey and Joe’s elopement is precisely that. They traveled here from Illinois to experience the beauty found throughout Colorado and had an elopement that was perfect for them. We were lucky enough to have beautiful blue skies and a warm spring day, which was perfect. Lindsey and Joe had planned for moments of privacy to be together and create once-in-a-lifetime memories. We immediately connected over both having twins. Lindsey and Joe have 18-month-old twins, whereas my husband and I have 11-year-old twin boys! It was such a fun connection to share. As a Colorado elopement photographer, I love meeting couples who love adventure and crave the outdoors. These two were awesome!
An Emotional First Look Before the Classic Colorado Elopement
Before Lindsey and Joe’s ceremony we planned for a first look. Lindsey looked stunning in her glamorous wedding dress as her groom anxiously awaited her. During their first look there were moments of pure joy, laughter, and excitement for their upcoming ceremony. After seeing one another for the first time, the couple read a bible passage together. It was a powerful moment spent with one another before making their lifelong commitment. After Lindsey and Joe sat and read together, it was time for their intimate and classic Colorado elopement ceremony.
The Intimate Elopement Ceremony
Later, our couple committed to one another forever in a private elopement ceremony. The ceremony site was beautiful, overlooking the water. After they were announced as husband and wife, they celebrated with a cake cutting, champagne pop, and a toast! Their classic Colorado elopement was so much fun and filled with love. Overall, celebrating their love and next chapter in life together was a breathtaking spring day.
