It helps you see what kind of variety a particular photographer captures within a session, and how the pose people throughout. There a no wrong answers, but this is a great way to tell immediately if this Denver family photographer is the one for you!!

What is Your Process for Backing Up Images?

Arguably, one of the most important questions you can ask any photographer is how they will take care of your photos from session to delivery. In a world overruled by technology, you must know how your photographer will protect your memories. Throughout my years in business, I’ve developed a strategy that includes keeping your photos backed up in multiple places through delivery. I use two cameras during your session, each which copies your images to two cards simultaneously. Afterwards, your images are carefully stored on multiple hard drives to prevent anything from happening to them.

When Will We See the Complete Gallery?

One of the most important parts of being a Denver family photographer is editing your photos. I hand-edit all your photos to ensure they’re beautiful and up to the Erin Lassahn Photography standard. Showing up and taking your photos is only part of what I do. As such, I always aim to deliver your images in about two to three weeks from your family session date. In busier seasons, if delivery dates are looking to be longer than that, I’ll let you know! I understand how exciting it is to receive those family photos back, however making sure they’re just right is just as important!

As a Denver Family Photographer, What’s Your Shooting Style Like During a Session?

Often, photographers can get so worried about capturing the ‘picture perfect’ family poses that they forget the reason behind these photos. As parents, we want to remember our children during their silly and goofy stages when they ran and played together. Of course, we’ll ensure we get a few family portraits together. But I love taking a more relaxed approach to photography. I enjoy allowing your children’s personalities to shine while capturing some incredible memories together.

I tend to favor a playful lifestyle photography approach. This allows us to embrace the genuine moments throughout your session and leave behind any overly forced poses.
