It’s always such an honor when friends trust me to capture moments with their families! I have known this beautiful mother-of-two since my very first days in Washington DC. When I lived there several years ago, we were both photography hobbyists and I’m so happy to say that we’ve been friends ever since! So when I had the chance to capture their family in Alexandria Virginia I was beyond excited! I may be a Denver family photographer, but I love getting to visit the east coast for sessions like these!

Since the last time I had seen my dear friend and her husband, they had welcomed their second daughter, so this was my first time meeting her. We met on an overcast morning along the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The girls didn’t mind the cloudy skies one bit and were happy to play and have fun!
