I can’t believe I’ve been capturing memories with this very special family since their oldest boy turned just three years old! Long time clients are simply the best, and I really enjoyed our sunny, playful family session at Honeymoon Island State Park during my fall visit this year.

Over the last more-than-a-decade, we have done sessions at gorgeous locations all over the Tampa area, and this year we were supposed to head back to an old favorite garden spot along the water.

However, rain had other plans for us! As we tried to outrun it, we ended up at the beach, and despite some very persistent bugs nipping at our ankles, we captured some gorgeous sunlit beach shots along the shore (always my favorite when I head to Florida!).

I really love when luck is on our side, particularly when it comes to weather. We really did have a decent amount of it this time. We even caught a rainbow at the very beginning of our session!

There’s no better place for a playful family session!
