Blooms on 23 is the most adorable outdoor space in Windsor, Colorado. During a visit, you might wander among the sunflowers, zinnias, and other wildflowers or maybe you’d prefer to capture photos with fairytale pumpkins as your backdrop. There are also farm animals for petting and lots of space to run and play.

The property is totally private and only available for photographers, so you need to make friends with someone like me to hang out and take photos there, but don’t worry – I’ve got you covered!

This year, I captured some lovely images among the wildflowers. We had gorgeous light for both sunflower sessions and I also had a chance to hang out with a couple of my favorite families.

I hadn’t seen this first family in several years, but it was so nice seeing their girls a bit more grown up! We wandered through the sunflower and zinnia fields, and near the end of the session, we even had a chance to run and play while capturing some sweet moments between mom and dad!

For another family sunflower session, I met with a repeat client and her beautiful daughter. This little lady is always so much fun and quite the character. It’s also quite clear how much she just adores her mom. I’ve been so lucky to see these two rather frequently for sessions, and it’s such a pleasure watching her grow!
