I recently met up with this sweet family at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver, Colorado. This picturesque park is the second largest in the city and boasts the largest lake – the perfect setting for family photos!

Mom and Dad are high school sweethearts and Denver transplants, who also happen to live close by. We had a ton of fun capturing some photographs and taking in a really gorgeous sunset.

Little man wasn’t entirely impressed with the sunset and kept wanting to run away from the gorgeous light. That’s ok though, since he was still the star of the show! We let him take the lead (for the most part) and had fun exploring near the lake and walking up and down stairs – a newly acquired talent for this little guy!
