Summer Sunset Garden of the Gods Elopement

Elopements

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs is one of the most iconic locations in the entire state. With its stunning land formations, the scenery throughout the park is both beautiful and unique.

There are also a number of photo worthy spots – High Point, Jaycee Plaza, Three Graces Plaza, and Sentinel Plaza – just to name a few. And they’re each perfect for an intimate wedding or elopement!

It also just so happens that Garden of the Gods is one of my favorite outdoor elopement locations in Colorado, and likely why Harry and Elizabeth chose this location for their special day.

On the evening of their elopement, the weather was particularly beautiful – but despite the crowds, we were able to stake out the perfect spot for these two to exchange their vows sans tourists. The bride and groom had a lovely ceremony with both sets of parents as their witnesses.

The elopement ceremony was officiated by Kaitlin Shea of Kaitlin Shea Weddings.

After the picturesque ceremony, we were able to capture some photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. with the majestic rocks as our backdrop.

The couple’s parents played traffic cops as we ran up the road to get some fun shots. Thankfully, the bride was prepared with flat shoes to help climb up on the rocks for an end-of-the-evening kiss!

Garden of the Gods is truly magical…

And there are a number of possibilities for a picturesque ceremony at the park. I’d love to be included in your special day, so be sure to reach out and say hi as you start the planning process. If you’re ready to make things official, you can lock in your date by adding it to my schedule!
