I love the beach! The sun, the sand, and the WATER makes for one of the most gorgeous backdrops for a photo session- and when you are landlocked here in Colorado, getting to photograph a beach session is a treat!
However, when you are a parent of three kids under the age of 4, I know the beach might not feel like such a treat. The sun can mean burns and sunscreen, the sand means mess and sand thrown everywhere, and the water means safety hazard! So, I have to say I was so grateful and excited when this family was willing (and even excited!) to head to the beach for their family photos.
They selected Honeymoon Island State Park for their location, one of my favorite spots in Florida. As one of the best-loved state parks in Florida, it’s perfectly situated on a barrier island with over four miles of beach to explore.
It was wild, wet and sandy, but it was worth it because the kids all had so much fun playing and splashing.
Having clients who are willing to go the distance and have an adventure usually pays off and this session was no exception. We were even rewarded with the most serene pink sunset! I look forward to the next time I can photograph this beautiful family!
Honeymoon Island State Park never disappoints!
I would be honored to capture some beautiful memories with your family as you play and explore along the shoreline! When you’re ready to schedule your next family session, I would love for you to get in touch and say hi, so we can discuss all the details!
Or if you’re ready to schedule a date and time, hop over to my calendar, check my availability, and select the best time for your family! I’ll be happy to take it from there!
