Philippe Park in Safety Harbor is a popular but always gorgeous location, the perfect little stop on the drive between Tampa and Clearwater, Florida. I recently featured it in my Best Tampa and Clearwater Florida Portrait Session Locations blog, and this session is the perfect example of why I love this place so much!

This was my second time photographing this lovely family of four during one of my seasonal visits. While we had some overcast skies on the day of our session, the park is such a beautiful spot that sunshine or not, you can still get lovely shots!

Not only did the oak trees offer droopy Spanish moss for the perfect backdrop, but their branches were perfect for swinging and climbing, too!

I had such a great time documenting this family as they played games near the sandy Mobbly Bay shoreline and climbed the big trees.

I also witnessed how much these two parents love each other as we captured some cozy moments of just mom and dad. What an adorable couple!
