What can I say? Jess is my best friend, and of course Casey is a great friend too…so I was honored to be able to take some photos to celebrate their new engagement (as of April!), especially as he just deployed to Afghanistan to dutifully and generously serve our country! How appropriate and fitting for a Memorial Day Weekend post!?
A few weeks before he left, we took full advantage of the gorgeous Colorado sites & scenery, starting our session at the beautiful Broadmoor Hotel, a gorgeous Colorado Springs historic landmark resort set up high towards the foothills. After strolling through the beautiful property, and taking a fun shot with their accommodating doormen, we made our way over to the scenic Garden of the Gods where we got a great views of the billion year old red rock formations the park has to offer. Last stop was downtown Colorado springs for some more urban photos. So fun!
I know Jess will miss Casey tremendously while he’s away, we all will! Casey is a super fun, loyal, life-of-the-party kind of guy and get togethers just won’t be the same until he returns safely to us!
But the bigger picture is that these two love birds are engaged after 3+ years of dating and those of us lucky enough to call them both dear friends couldn’t be happier for them! Hopefully these photos can be a great reminder to them both while they are apart of how much they love each other. Love you both!! xxoo
