Some of you may know about the largest Wedding Photography Convention in the world (that I know of) that is held every year in Sin City, Las Vegas! WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) brought 16,000 photogs to Vegas! Well for the last 2 years (and once many years prior) I have been lucky enough to get to go to WPPI, look at new vendors, meet other photographers, learn a thing or two here and there and generally have a good time immersing myself in the business I am so passionate about! But one thing missing from years previous was a chance to come back with some stellar photos from Vegas. Well I wasn’t going to come back empty handed this time!
One of my absolute favorite wedding blogs, the fab Grey Likes Weddings co-hosted a shoot with the talented Victor Sizemore, Photographer, to give us fellow wedding photographers a chance to learn and photograph a stylized shoot. Best part, it was themed in the style of Mad Men…that classic sixties style! You know I was signed up as soon as I found out about it. Aside from the gorgeous penthouse at the Palms we shot in and the stunning and super nice models with the gorgeous retro dresses and hairstyles, the shoot also allowed me to meet the beautiful and uber sweet face behind Grey Likes Weddings; Summer Watkins, who was just as lovely in person as she has been to me in countless email exchanges.
