Jane + Marty | Destination engagement session on the National Mall
Jane & Marty are a fantastic couple from the big apple, and during our session I found out that it just so happens they got engaged the same day Stefan and I got married! (What a coincidence!) Even though we live in Denver now and they live in NYC, it turns out we had more than a date in common, we also had a city in common! They used to live in DC as did I, so when they contacted me about doing a session, I was so excited that the date they were available was the same date I would be back in town! The coincidences seemed to end there though as throughout our session we ran into several roadblocks (literally) but we made it work despite lots of traffic, road closures, cars not starting, people running in and out of our shots. I think we came out with some great shots! Congrats Marty and Jane!!!
Tiffany & John | DC Fire Station & Great Falls, VA Engagement
Sorry for my absence everyone, but I am happy to announce I am now a MARRIED LADY!!! Yay!! Stefan and I had the most amazing wedding and I couldn’t have asked for more. We were honored to have the amazing Paul Von Rieter photograph the day and I hope to share pictures with you all soon!
But right now it’s time to get back to work after being away for so long! I want to share with you Tiffany and John’s adorable outdoor wedding from this past fall, but before I do I thought I would introduce you to this cute couple by sharing their engagement session. We shot on two different days and man, it was scorching hot both times. But despite the heat these two hugged, kissed and goofed off like the fun couple they are.
Before we get to the pictures though I have to share with you a little bit more about these two because their story is so great! John is a firefighter in DC, and Tiffany is an emergency room nurse at George Washington Hospital. As you might imagine, John often has to drive an ambulance to the hospital, and from what I understand he would always see Tiffany at the energency room entrance. Well one day he asked her out, and after dating for a while, he proposed the same way, except this time he pulled up in a limo to whisk her away! How sweet!
